I found last night charming.
Some of my neighbors had their own fireworks that they were launching in our community field which I got to see at various angles during my walk, and the sheer number of fireflies rivals past roadtrips I'd taken. The weather was nice after a powerful heatwave and there was just enough light in the dark to be peaceful. The house lights of the neighborhood I know so well now were the perfect backdrop too.
