Depending on where in the US that someone lives, there is room to appeal to varying degrees the gender that is written on one's birth certificate. 

In that respect, all I'd need to do is live somewhere where that could be appealed, once the child knew. For the time being I'd go with their cisgendered appearance and let time tell the rest of the story. 

That being said, I don't think a birth certificate is what identifies their identity, it is merely a document of witness from the hospital who felt the need to document body parts under a label. 

As soon as the kid learned to sit upright, Delora ( Who is pregnant again) and Nathan brought the child a Barbie doll, and a football. The Barbie doll was all colourful, it was more like a Bratz doll so it had makeup like a whore with rainbow hair. Come on baby, choose choose choose !.

Are you kidding we'd probably buy them something resembling 'Where The Wild Things Are'. 

It takes a right wing stooge to assume children's toys have to have an assigned gender. You probably think all Teddy Bears are male because they're named 'Teddy'. 

Kid reaches for the doll, Delora and Nathan are like "Yes !" before the kid starts smacking it around and tosses it away.

You don't understand, I was the one rooting for Sid in Toy Story. 

Toys are meant to be tested, it's why classic Lego is such a successful company (rather than what they've become). You can hand those down for generations to come, those Legos will survive nuclear wars. 

Kid looks at the football. Opens his arms, looks not to his Mother, but his biological bisexual Father and the kids pausing with arms wide open like "gimmie that". Nate drops the ball, the kid tosses it back to Biodad, claps hands twice but this time with the expression of, " you're supposed to throw it dummy".

I'd totally toss the ball with my kid if that was what they wanted to do, but my bloodline tends to prefer 1 on 1 sports, be those intellectual pursuits, sports like Tennis, or martial arts. 

Probably has to do with our eyesight; My father and I have very questionable depth perception in spite of being technically somewhat farsighted. 

Delora takes charge and threw the football to baby. Baby catches it, but, Mummy did it....

She has a lot more energy than me, she will probably be the one doing more active things. 

That's called division of labor. 

Kid starts wigging out looking back at forth at the doll and the ball. Nate starts perking up  "looks like it's working !"

Why not have a Barbie with Bratz makeup who plays football? 

You're so behind the times. 

Also a reminder: Delora has a girlfriend and, even if synergy were in sync somehow, I'm not going to be 'The Other Woman' if I can help it. 

I feel like you're only tying us together because of how we both are aberrations in some way upon typical gender norms, making you sexist through less expected pathways.
