I have theories about Josh.
He's a theist turned atheist, or angry at God, possibly for his shortcomings. If we're all Pokemon, he'd be Psyduck, but without the hidden power or ability to escape his capsule. ( I saw the show a long time ago and not a fan of the franchise, though I should've collected the damn cards while I was there when they first hit the shelves )
Being blasphemous means showing great disrespect, contempt, or a lack of reverence toward God, a religion, or something considered sacred. It can happen through actions, writing, or speech.
Using holy names in vain: Using God’s name casually as a curse word.
Insulting sacred figures: Mocking or saying offensive things about holy prophets or deities.
Defacing holy objects: Showing physical disrespect to religious symbols or texts.
Denying God's nature: Claiming God creates evil or acting defiantly against divine authority.
What we're witnessing with Josh leans more toward anger toward the divine, hence the pretentious nature of some new character. So he's likely still a theist, taking swings at God for atheist eyes and he probably thinks he'll change and be forgiven, before time is up and it's judgement time. Maybe he's the type to have a tantrum until he gets what he wants, and he's doing that so God will give him what he desires. But you see, he can't have what he desires while being a spoiled brat, the world doesn't work that way, so in turn he's throwing out his higher potentials so God will just give it to him now. Probably would like a girlfriend or to lose his virginity, gain much with little to no effort etc.
Regardless of one's belief, it's easy even for an atheist to see how fucked Josh is going to be, based on his own belief systems and fallout with God. An atheist would know, if this shit turned out to be real, and the atheist reviewed their life, Josh wouldn't exactly be the best and brightest thing they've seen, while being assessed themselves.
The effect of Josh's antics are far from humorous and it does kill the interest of the forum. What is it exactly about him that does this ? I think it's by design in all honesty. I probably clicked 1 of his posts and ignore the rest, the noise is either annoying or uninteresting.
Knowing what I know, what I think I know and what could be, I'll be asked why did I not try to save the fucker. I don't think I can, at best this post is the best I can do. Josh is also a bit mentally retarded and will sell his soul to be popular for Luna, feeding the catfish for no prize but a peck on the cheek for providing Luna with an endless supply of validation and will NEVER meet her in this lifetime.
In the eyes of an atheist, Josh is good at clearing out the forum. To a theist, he's that plus the greatest fool of you all. And believe me, Josh is the fool of fools.
God hates stupid people. It's true he really does. They are the type to be rebellious and spiteful and generally are unpopular with the public when it comes to their ways. Such types can drive a civilization into the ground while taking others with them. The attributes mentioned in this paragraph are true even from a secular perspective.
Blasphemy is the unforgivable sin. It isn't an egotistical thing on God's behalf. It's technically worse than murder cause it damns eternal souls. Denying God or going against God is denying the self. We came at a price to God. That's a big statement. Detaching from God leads to oblivion, because we are a part of God detaching is self destruction, which is what makes blasphemy unforgivable.
