Do Drake’s songs make you depressed?

I had never really listened to Drake but I was riding in a tesla Model Y today listening to Drake (The mention of both together seemed fitting)

and his songs started to make me depressed. Was glad to get out of there, lol.

I think it’s something about pentatonic (Eastern-inspired) scales

AHAHA I’m not alone in this:

””+14 Yes, critics, music theorists, and fans frequently discuss how Drake's music leans into melancholic and depressing themes. While he is known for moody R&B earworms like "Hold On, We're Going Home" which use the Splice Pentatonic Scale Guide, the deeper, brooding sadness in his discography often stems from complex minor chords and vocal manipulation””
