So she was in a lot of pain. I thought about stepping on her oxygen tube. She woke up in the middle of her sleep in hospice and started crying "help me" and the nurses were neglecting her morphine despite my nagging. She was crying. She was scared. She went back to sleep but I didn't want her to wake up like that again.
I asked a nurse what would hypothetically happen if her oxygen was cut
The nurse blatantly told me my grandmother would die uncomfortably that way whereas if she keeps her oxygen she dies slowly but in more comfort
So I decided not to step on her oxygen tube
But I did really consider it.
