My thoughts on the avatar the last airbender movie

The animation was beautiful, I would've loved to see it in cinemas. Plot however was mid and predictable

My thoughts on the movie being leaked early

Fuck Paramount for pulling the cinema release, they deserve it just because of that. However, I do think the decreased income will effect future prospects of the avatar studio, but it is what it is

My thoughts on Med intruding into my my thoughts thread

I don't mind I guess, but I have no idea what her wanting to see "Focker-In-Law with Robert DeNiro" has to do with me. What does Focker even mean?

My thoughts on nihilism

I think nihilism is the harsh reality of our world. Scientifically our only purpose is to reproduce, and nothing more than that. I accept that. But on the other hand, we only have one life, after that, there's nothing. You might as well sit tight and enjoy the ride, your seconds are limited and precious. Make the best out of every situation. Unless ofcourse you're paralyzed or in a state where every second in misery, in that case, kill yourself.

I'm in support of it

It’s a sequel to the Meet the Fockers movie series. So long as you were talking about Avatar.

Scientifically, there is no purpose. It's always this dumb mongoloid take that there's a purpose to reproduce in a universe that does not gaf if you do and does not gaf about your offspring at all.

Science suggests every part of the body has a purpose. Heart,  lungs, bones, kidneys, liver.

A womb has a purpose. As do the genitals. Both genders have a purpose.

The hands. Look at them. The way it can twist on a wrist. It's for something. It has purpose.

DNA code is so complex, by description it would take 1 person 50 years to write. A, C, T, G,

The brain is a biological processing engine that's more efficient and flexible than any computer we've made. It controls all the organs automatically alongside other functions. This too has a purpose. I'd reckon part of its purpose is to also experience being human.

Everything in life is borrowed. Including what you think is you. While space and time are unified, you're just a spark in time as much as you're small to space while being a part of the universe. You are made of stardust, Science knows this.

Our purpose is to learn and experience. For some, the hard way. Science doesn't contest any of this.

Learn as much as you can, or not. We'll find not everything we know is important.

Yes many of you will die a jackass, but you would have still served a purpose and that is, being an example. Yes there have been many jackasses, but the nervous system filters out the consciousness to experiencing being what it is for every vessel, the illusion of duality, and in this point in time or new perspective, you're not surrounded by every vessel, so the jackass will be on display yet again. We do learn from others what works and what doesn't.

Sure we're not like the other animals. It isn't difficult to see unlike them we're held accountable for our actions on a deeper level. And I say on a deeper level cause even the animals must at times cast out their own.

Clearly a quibble about semantics.  "Purpose" has different meanings and contexts.  It is often associated with "function" or "use".  There can be conflation with "destiny" or "fate".  Absolutist nihilists might contend that when you're speaking of the universe and totalities, maybe infinities, nearly anything becomes arbitrary.  It is almost tautological.  Things are because they are.  And while that's true, the only way this whole experience seems to function is consequentially.  Nihilism is scared of teleology for some reason.

I think it's going to be a boiling down of Compatibalism vs Literalists (or whatever you want to call it).

It is more a language and communication issue, not recognizing just how deep the anthropomorphising goes.

And yet at the end of the day the brain is a sack of perishable fat. A dead person by definition cannot be a jackass. Eventually nothing will function further proving nothing ever did to begin with.
