today im adding a message board to comms link to experiment on the idea of submitting text with your voice

so... with this tech you can submit a message with voice or text and then say your in your car driving along... you open a thread, you hit play...
and it plays the voice of each user in their selected voice.

so you hear like a conversation going on between these users

Sell it to me why would someone want to put greater and greater distance between themself and others to the point that they are using canned voices for their own and further knowing these are canned voices wants to hear the canned voices in concert ?

tbh, I strongly suggest using another method for the voice changer. Ai typically needs to be trained to generate a voice which means you're going to have people selecting the same voice, then in a real time conversation between 2 people using the same voice from your list will confuse observers and weird out the speakers. 

They'll ask you to fix it. A voice needs to have a signature vibration.

There's probably a way to recognize a users actual voice and match it to a similar voice that's been trained on related voice styles idk 

but Silero TTS is a good text to speech library. It has 118 voice models in english alone. The variable names for them are like v3_en_0 - v3_en_117 or something. Probably v3_jp_0 etc for japanese. I forgot the language abbreviation codes, I don't know if the documentation even specifies them. You can use google translate api to translate other languages if yuo want to incorporatei that ever. It has great russian voices

I would like to allow users who post in the forum to be able to choose a voice.

Readers of the threads will have the option to have the entire conversation read to them, each reply in the selected voice of its author.

This will enable an almost podcast-like listening experience for users which could be useful when they are driving in their cars.
