The guy spent millions of dollars for her and her friends to fly around the world, stay at the best hotels with, as mentioned, the best gifts. Probably nice cars. And now she's breaking his heart. Marry the friend !

Am I ever glad you posted that. I was just about to fly us around the globe as a way to rekindle our relationship, but it really seems I can't top that Andrew guy you're always following around.
Maybe you and Chapo should list your intellectual achievements criminal activity, and Med might better make up her mind.

Also there was no relationship between us. What at first seems like an innocent joke on the forum about rekindling a relationship really falls flat.

Arguably, could be said (in) either way and the meaning remains intact. "Might make up her mind better" versus "Might better make up her mind" is more an emphasis change? Nothing is lost or changed much. Nothing much is lost or changed. Not much is lost or changed. Are you able to parse the meaning from these differences?
EDIT: If that's what you meant by "awkward", I think the awkwardness is only in your mind, therefore.

Yes of course I can “parse meaning”. My dad drilled into me not to split infinitives but yet it is more accepted today. Awkward is what editors and “Strunk and White” would call the English
I think I’m reacting more to your childishness of pitting Chapo and Spatial against each other assuming then I would choose.
