"Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences proposes that intelligence is not a single ability but a collection of distinct types. He identified eight intelligences, including linguistic, logical-mathematical, spatial, musical, bodily-kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalistic. Gardner’s theory suggests that everyone has different strengths and learning styles across these areas."
I find this is be a very good theory.
I don't necessarily think all 8 areas are correct, but I have noticed some very dumb people have some very excellent areas of expertise.
I know a doctor that can't change a tire on his car. The guy is an idiot but can cut you open and remove things without problems. idiot savant

Gardner defines intelligence as a “biopsychological potential to process information that can be activated in a cultural setting to solve problems or create products that are of value in a culture”
