Alberta seceding from Canada!

"But now the western province of Alberta is laying the groundwork to hold a referendum asking voters whether they support seceding from Canada."

"People in Alberta are fed up with being governed by idiotic politicians back in Ontario, that do not understand our province and do not understand that culturally, we’re far more closely affiliated with our friends to the south in Montana, than we are with all of the people in Ottawa,"

"But on Saturday she was among hundreds of people who rallied at the Alberta legislature to support separation from Canada, with many in the crowd waving Alberta flags and a few even displaying the U.S. Stars and Stripes."

Love to have you guys as the 51st State! Hope it works out!

Would Alberta stand a better chance than Quebec's separatists?  Probably.  Quebec was trying to stand alone, or in some way trying to have its cake and eat it too.  Maybe that delicious oil in Alberta makes reasons and circumstances different for them.  Although, how likely are others to follow?  British Columbia would be in a pretty inconvenient place.

Hard to tell. Maybe some Canadians can chime in. I think the issues are around taxation without representation. People sending their money to a Government that hates them. That won't last for long.

Alberta isn't interested in joining the US either. They'd rather scram with the oil sell it to the US and answer to no one.

Separation from Canada I heard can take over a decade.

Y'know what's funny about the Canadian election, there's evidence of it being stolen.

Every Canadian political youtuber across the land interviewed Canadians on the street, and I don't recall actually seeing anyone say they're voting Liberal.

Poilievre's rallys were much bigger than Carney's.

I know liberal minded people who openly supported the Conservative party who call out the Liberal party's mismanagement of Canada.

Canadians are pissed off at Liberal policy. Angry at the volume of student VISA from India, how there are benefits for companies operating in Canada, to hire non citizrn immigrants. You go to Tim Hortons and in many cases it's an all coolie staff. Happens at Ronald's too.

GenZ has a difficult time finding work, plus they are a Generation that won't be able to buy homes on the most part.

Alberta has 5 million people while Ontario has 14 million. It's easy to assume there are more upset voters in Ontario than in Alberta. A majority of Albertains don't support separation from Canada while a significant minority does.

Will Alberta separate  ? I doubt it.

Albertain separation is being called for by the fewer, Danielle Smith wants to make a statement and entertains the idea.

It annoys me when Americans gleefully cheer the idea of Alberta separation from Canada, thinking that means they'll gain what never belonged to them.

And like I said before, Alberta isn't interested in joining the US. Not to mention adopting the US national debt.

Like imagine Texas got tired of American politics and wanted to separate itself from the US, and Canada was like, "Hell yeah Texas is gonna join us and it'll be glorious, take that America !  We're #1 !"

It's stuff like that which makes things less peaceful between these two nations. It's corrupt, malicious and in a sense selfish, so as always, people need watch out for some of their friends on the other side and vice versa.

If the People of Texas voted to secede, more power to them. The alternative is civil war, which we've been through before. The USA is a republic of states where minorities are protected from the majority.

The Canadian government's policies are pushing people to extremes. Basically wanting to flee from the oppression.

BTW, there is a significant population in Alberta wanting to succeed due to moral disagreements with the socialistic Canadian government.

Friends don't force other friends to be unhappy. True friends set their friends free from oppression.

Texas is America's biggest holder of natural resources. If Texas separated that would do real damage to the US, though the US buys more energy to meet their denands from Canada.

The point I'm making is, it's nothing for anyone to celebrate, and it would make it even more gross if another nation praises the separation while anticipating acquiring the land.

Take note of how things are now since the Soviet Union broke apart between Ukraine and Russia. Nothing good if it's a civil war, or a war of nations.

Edit: Forgot to respond to this one.

Yes. Even more in Ontario. Triple the amount of people compared to Alberta.

Alberta is now Canada's job fair utopia with more opportunity and lower prices. Very conservative, it flourishs beautifully in it's development. In the grand scheme more people in Ontario are pissed off at the Liberal and NDP parties.

BTW, there is a significant population in Alberta wanting to succeed due to moral disagreements with the socialistic Canadian government.

26% of Albertains want to separate. They'd lose if they voted for it.

Canadians want things back how it was before 2015.

Friends don't force other friends to be unhappy. True friends set their friends free from oppression.

The Liberal government adopted Democratic policies that destroy one's nation.

You hear about the undocumented immigrants in the US, we have the same thing here and worse.

Canada's independent media, that is the popular political youtubers, had a diffucult time findind Liberal voters. The Liberal party got Trudeau to resign before calling an election with the promis to go against Trump.

The mainstream media, along with politicians started attacking the independent Canadian media, by name. Slandering them, while the youtubers showed the real energy behind the upcoming federal election, and it wasn't in favor of Mark Carney.

Just as we can see the American  2020 election was rigged in favor of Biden, the same shit happened in Canada for the very party and cabinet that fucked up Canada. The thing about Trump is, after all that led up to his 2024 victory he was really too big to pull a fast one, plus there was no pandemic to hide crowd sizes.

In Canada we have literally the same cabinet. We're expecting gas powered cars to no longer be street legal in 5 years. This is very stupid.

The size difference in rallys, the amount of Conservative support, the unpopularity of the Liberal party, this election was a complete sham.

With that in mind. To the Albertain separatist. I say you can suck my balls. Same for the separatist in Quebec, they can lick balls. Fortunately, by a landslide most Albertains and Quebecers don't want separation. Let's get our country back.

My message to Texas separatist. Not happening.

California separation ? How the fuck will you manage to survive in that cesspool and with who's money ? Hollywood  ? Not enough.
