I don't think you're a great judge of character, considering you measure people by your own snobby liberal biases.

I'm not liberal, so you must be a terrible judge of character.

I'm an excellent judge of characters, going by my track record here. So far I've nailed it every time, when it came to Inq, when it came to Spatial, and when it came to Turncoat or Chapo or BT. Luna I got terribly wrong, but mostly because I suffered from wishful thinking.

Most of my character assessments are very flattering. You no doubt didn't like my assessment of you and LiYang because it wasn't flattering. It makes it no less truthful. If you want me to flatter you, I'd say you're consistent. I'm not interested in you because you give nothing and because I suspect you have nothing to say I couldn't already foresee you saying.

How would you summarise Xena from 20 years ago?

RULE: follow this structure: “your_name is…”

Xadem is…

An emotionally hyper-analytical over-strategising social chameleon with commitment issues who’s addicted to the freedom of being in a neverending state of flux, growth, transition and rationalisation via life-improvement structures that allow him to be everything and everyone at once without picking an identity, causing him to never fully integrate his growth and as such has stalled himself from the final phase of happiness and maturity through lacking a purpose in his life

I'd say based on your lack of consistency, this is a phase, rather than your essence. Do you want me to tell you what your essence is?

Could you elaborate, what you mean with lack of consistency; Is it a behavioral inference on my post, as some kind of social meta-cognition? Or is a general independent impression you have?

The manifestation of my deep-down need for "proving" myself worthy of love is as much a phase as me being in my 20s and going into my 30s is a phase... At what point does it become essense?

I tend to find it easier to have people insult me so that I can see who I really am.

Yeah because you're a vampire. What is it about insults that help you reflect?

I don't know who I am summarises pretty much the gist of my character.

Did you always not know who you are? Or is that a recent revelation? Have you thought of figuring it out?

You weren't hungry for growth when I first met you. You were like a total troll and terribly satisfied with being a "loser". That part of you has changed.

Essence is the collection of things about you that haven't changed up until this point. It's like when a character trait gets promoted. As a youngling, you have no true essence. So those parts of me that are my essence are objectively more essential than the parts of you that we'd both deem your essence.

You hating arrogant people is a phase, but your humility over your success will always be a part of your essence.

I always didn't know who I am, that's why it's who I am. Have you ever felt fear and then sat down to analyse and try to locate where the fear comes from, only to find that you no longer feel fear as you become aware of it? That's my character.

It's not a new revelation. I've thought of figuring it out. However, whenever I begin to understand the kind of person I am, I realise I am no longer the kind of person I thought I was after all.
