Tiktok ban in the US is a meltdown in the making. It is one of the hottest platforms in the world and now it's on the verge of being taken away. 

It's said there are national security concerns with the app, though the real reason could simply be it's too big to not be American like the other platforms. It's Chinese, who are notorious for spying on citizens. Huawei is banned from the US for such reasons. In the process the US wants to buy Tiktok.  

Donald Trump seems to want to save Tiktok for some reason. Maybe he sees it as a way to solidify his legacy.

This new app called REDnote is making waves as investors are starting to invest in this one. It's basically a place being made famous for tictokers to run to if and when their Tiktok is taken away from them. 

It's a bit of a middle finger to the US government, how they're running to another Chinese app.

Chinese people seem to be complaining about western culture appearing in their app, though I doubt Rednote will combine western culture to the east. Still it seems like Chinese people are pissed off.

 Kinda reminds me of when I used to play ffxi. They just slapped the whole world together with the Japanese. Japanese stood out cause the built in translators were for Japanese and English, and the servers were infested with Japanese players. In an MMORPG it was a recipe for fun.

As for Rednote. It'll suffer the same fate as Tiktok in the US.

As for the Chinese people who hate western culture ( as it's grotesque and vulgar to the Chinese )....

They may think they'll be happier when the Tiktok refugees are separated from them, and it most likely will be true,  but the ones who were vocal about it will need another glory fix and will long for another invasion of westerners appearing in droves with their perceptually inferior degenerate culture, so the chinese sjw can once again reign supreme with their superior judgement.
