I also believe all alt nutrition propaganda. I've experimented with it myself and I feel happy when I eat mixed nuts, berries, poultry, leafy greens, and seafood. Red meat didn't work so I replaced it with oysters. I'm in perfect health now, so I have found at least a local maximum.
What happened to your fasting stint?
Still doing it every Saturday, usually for 32 hours at a time, but sometimes, now much more rarely, closer to 72h.
Besides, I put all my food into a food processor. Ton of different color vegetables, white meat, mix low-carb nuts, fatty fish, oysters, sardines, and clams, some berries, and olive oil. Then wroom, result according to my wife is pig food, and she keeps making "onk onk" sounds when I eat it to mock me, but it's delicious and highly nutritious. Gives me energy for the entire day.
