Honestly I think you and others are forgetting that Turncoat is Schizophrenic. Do you know what Schizophrenia is? Read about it, especially the part about psychosis [1]. He's diagnosed with it. To him, his stories are as real as the laws of Physics. You're not going to convince him.

It took me a long time to understand that. It gives a new perspective to his stories. I used to feel frustrated, but after realising all of this is more about a mental condition that he can't help, I just feel sympathy.
