What Are The Most Important Questions To Ask A Potential Partner

I’m trying to figure out what this guy is all about, but I am only good at asking questions that lead to information I can use to manipulate people, so I’m not sure what to ask like just to get to know him, rather than to use him. When I google it, I choose the questions that do what I need them to do, so I need help. I’d usually ask the following questions first:

1. What’s your favorite color?

2. What do you love the most?

3. How do you feel about children?

4. What is the one thing you want the most out of life?

5. What do you like in a chick?

6. Why are you single?

7. What do you hate the most about yourself?

These seem okay, but the answers will allow me to figure out how to take advantage of the person and then my brain might take over and just go through those motions, instead of treating him like a person and trying to find out if we are compatible.

Please provide me with some questions to ask that are about compatibility, thanks 🙏

Okay, so I asked him:

“…Do you enjoy having discussions, like are you interested in just like understanding what other people think or how someone came to the conclusion they did? I guess we discussed God a bit, but I guess, in general, if you had more time, would you enjoy that? Or do you enjoy that?”

I sound retarded 🤣 I should really read these before I send them. So what should I ask next?

Politics and Common Interests basically sums it up. By having them be friends first the conversations tend to feed into themselves.

Why do you even need to know a favorite color beyond being a basic icebreaker question?

The favorite color says a lot about the person and it allows me to manipulate them in person, when I see them by wearing the color. Plus, if you remember someone’s favorite color, they think you care.
