Give examples for your exceptionalism as a child

At age three or so I read the television schedule as a chart on paper, determined that I wanted to watch Bugs Bunny and needed to get up at 6 am on Saturdays to watch

My parents recall they took one of my favorite programs off the air which I don’t remember being my favorite but I apparently looked up the phone number for the television station in the Phonebook and phoned it and asked who answered to air it again (maybe four years old)

I feel like it's easy to fall back on times where people said we were exceptional for our age, over how that did not last forever.

Nowadays the things people do as adults are never impressive, but after growing up hearing about how every little thing we did was amazing it gives a sense of failure towards the future.

This is not true for me. Please try not to avoid answering the prompt. “From the top!”

regarding the part about hearing  “every little thing was amazing”

I personally did not have Helicopter parents and “nothing” was amazing. Not discounting your experience but it wasn’t mine.

It's especially true for you, and that your entire goal is to recapture that 'wow you're so talented' a five year old embraces says a lot about your character.

It'd feel redundant to go on about my private schooling, grades, martial arts training and thespian accolades, and I find them hardly relevant towards the life I'm living now. It'd feel strange to brag about my TV watching habits or gaming as well, even if for you this seems to be worth boasting about.

It’s still you. You just did mention some things but you are very general is that deliberate so that you are beyond reproach? About your childhood though not now. In specific.
