I think my Uber driver moonlights and works for CIA. We were talking about Current Events and I guess I proved my mettle because he finally asked if I worked for the UN or an embassy. I told him he could look me up on Instagram if I weren’t under investigation. He said something like “stop saying that” watch your step as you get out “ma’am”. 📉 let down. It was just an amorous feeling I got from him to say that to him but I could have been wrong OR he’s not permitted to connect with a patron. I don’t think he was flattering me about UN, embassy unless he was doing it to elicit info about me.
We were talking about what it means to be Antitrust, spies at NIH, cyberattacks on telecommunications and the telecommunications tri-opoly.
I wanted to connect I think I could have handled this better. I had one other Uber driver who was a photographer I felt like connecting with literally make me stop and tell him my Instagram as he looked it up, it was my idea initially but I changed my mind and blocked him. If I wanted to connect I could have ensured he had my number but I was scared. Maybe he’ll look me up.
