otherwise I am moving back to a different area of North Carolina soon,  like not super near to where I used to live,  actually it would be pretty close to Ashville, NC if any of y'all have heard of that town,  from what I have heard about Ashville,  it is a beautiful,  artsy and liberal town

NY is an amazing place, like for real it's where I'd live if I could live anywhere.

You must be pretty uncultured to have no appreciation for the best the US has to offer.

soo it looks like I am going to be moving back to North Carolina,  at least temporarily because the process for the Manhattan apartments is taking longer.  like I will probably stay loving in New Jersey until I am able to look at the Manhattan apartments,  but I am still going to sign a lease for this ssi apartment in North Carolina to have as backup,  just in case the Manhattan apartment is not everything that I was hoping that it would be

would you want a reference for ssi housing in Manhattan ?  I am probably willing to give you a reference,  especially if I choose not to live there,  and maybe even of I did choose to sign a lease there.  I plan to check it out in person first though once this paperwork process moves along,  and then have some information about specific location,  crime rate etc

At the moment I am comfortable with my folks, but if they suddenly die or something that'd be something I'd be interested in.

NY though has been somewhere I've gone multiple times to visit. Nowhere else is quite as engrossing for me, the culture is so bustling and the constant movement is so me. Even just sitting around listening to music through earbuds while there is so much more than anywhere else I've been, the shows are good shit, and the few times I interacted with locals led to some interesting situations.

I miss it so much, and I'm overdue to get a new New York hoodie to replace my old one.

Stop obsessing over New York. It’s not the great fucking place you think it is. You haven’t seen the poverty, you haven’t seen the ghettos and the starving black families. You only see the good side because you tour the fucking center of New York City.

I lived in New York for 7 years and it was just fucking terrible. Gangs everywhere, drugs dealers on every corner and people shooting up dope and starving families. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows.

You just see the good side because you tour the buildings owned by oppressive billionaires and where the wealthy pieces of shit live.

Stop living in a day dream.

Wealthy people are not to be blamed. Everyone is an asshole and equality is an infrastructural issue more than a rich vs poor stereotype. Blame the NIMBYs who are like most of America. People hate me because I call out the real truth instead of joining the anti-rich bandwagon. And to me, people like you are rich and privileged while I am autistic and hated and actually poorer than the working class.

I'll admit that if I was rich I'd be fucking femboys in an Australian mansion. Cause deep down we all want to be that rich asshole who justifies their wealth.
