I would build apartments and rent them out. In the long run it would lead to a more equal and free society. The problem is the the single family zoning laws which I don't know how that would be dealt with. I used to think about rowhouses a lot but apartments would be harder to demolish and would cause a bigger impact on culture.
Have you looked into the rights tenants have, and the costs of maintenance as a landlord?
lots of renters go lower than they need to. i guess its more mature to let the market speak for itself. in the end its about creating something hard to destroy and i dont really plan on getting that wealthy even if i could.

If you can get even just one property you can AirBnB that shit as the start of your landlording journey.

If you are rich why build apartments when you can just buy and rent them. You are already rich, the more time you manage to save, the better.

Because I want to make society a more equal place with cheaper housing options and high density housing that could be closer to businesses and other people. Although I will never be able to.
