That’s really an odd criticism.   I literally know no one who homeschools their kids, in my family or even Society.   My mother did teach me to read at home, herself, and I was reading from 2.5 years old.   At three or four they said I read from the NYtimes where the text box used to say: All The News That’s Fit to Print.   I went to Montessori preschool and kindergarten.   Yes my mother was home from work until I was five years old.     But mostly in career families people are paying (often exorbitantly) to have others educate their kids, not to keep them out of school.

 I may be a goof, but "kids kids" sounds not unlike the similar phrase, ok.

I got it anyway, it makes her sound like she wants to be a grandparent (or someone who kidnaps grandchildren).

One of the people you were trying to "reconnect" with was homeschooled. 

Maybe anecdotally Lena was? Is that whom you mean? But most are not. Career families are often paying even exorbitantly to have their kids educated by others. Not really my experience.

Anyway when I said I wanted to reconnect with people I meant “real life” persons not internet strangers. I have tried bonding with Lena over being artists. Can’t fault me for trying.

If you want to have kids you should stop living in the past and meet someone new who also wants what you want.

You can deny deny all you want, but be hobest wirh yourself: your window of opportunity to carry your own child is closing quickly. Would surrogacy or adoption be options you would consider?
