You could try IFS therapy. Your attraction to your "perfect partner" and obsession with the past is obvious.

Along with getting defensive when I said something about highschool when I was really just getting a hint about your past fixation and that's just how I described it at the time.

Plus you are 40 years old and insisted that I am older when I literally posted my ID birth date with an identifier.
