Capitalizing is not as underhanded as exploiting, until you make it no longer about people. 

Edit: Actually, even outside of that. In a videogame, if you are capitalizing it's more about seeing how to utilize what's there, like using the game's best attack, weapon, or character, while exploiting it is moreso about how to twist something like a glitch. 

You would not capitalize on a Gameshark, but you could use a Gameshark to exploit a game's code.
