That's, from left to right: Chapo, rapenigger, Just, SunmerMed, Summermed
It's been like this for months. Is this the finel end of sc?
Or is this just how it'll be for years?
I think the problem is that new people are terrified.
Terrified of what though?
I'd say the problem is moreso that old people are terrified, the new ones won't even know what they're missing.
The current bunch are afraid of feeling bad when they'd rather come here to shit on others to feel good, it's a bit hypocritical. When you look at when and why they left it's over not wanting to be targeted over their feelings, a fear of being singled out when they know full well they're too weak to stand on their own two feet within their current position, in spite of a sadistic appetite to bring that out of others for their own reflected sense of validation, like a pecking order or fun house mirror comparison. Also at this point we've seen eachother for years, we know how to make the words bite and people are too sore over it to continue, even lending to some silly puppet shenanigans to try to have 4chan armor.
From a new person's POV the supposed dangers of this place are just as present as you'd see from other forums, and they know what to do about it to protect themselves if my talks and lurkings with others are any indicator. The only ones who fall for it at this stage of the internet's age tend to have something legitimately wrong with them as to have not gotten the hint this far along.
People want to feel untouchable rather than strong these days, even a "No U" is too much for some people now. It's sad to watch "You don't know me" be one of the few defenses people seem to have left.

It sounds like growing together. In a very inefficient way, creating common patterns.
It was particularly toxic. So do you think that might bode badly for the future of the community, if we age into this stage where we cannot handle it? Reviving this place might be like making friends when you're 50.
If it lives through another dry spell like it has so far, cool, and if not I otherwise saw it to the end.
I had worries before and found myself surprised each time when something new sparked up out of nowhere.
