Oh my gosh, like seriously, writing poems is my jam  

I love to put my thoughts and feels into verse, wham bam!  

But some haters out there, they just don't understand  

They say my poems are lame, like a troll in fairyland  

But I don't let them get me down, no way, no how  

I'll keep on writing poems, 'til I'm old and wrinkled like a prune cow  

Cuz writing is my passion, it's my heart and soul  

And even if my poems are ugly, they still make me whole  

I love to play with words, to make them dance and sing  

I love to let my imagination run wild, like a bird on the wing  

And when I'm done with a poem, I feel so darn proud  

Like I just conquered the world, or climbed up a giant cloud  

So haters gonna hate, that's just the way it goes  

But I'll keep on writing poems, 'til my fingers and toes  

Are wrinkled and tired, and I can't write no more  

Cuz writing poems is my life, it's what I was put here for!  

So to all you haters out there, I've got one thing to say  

Writing poems brings me joy, each and every single day  

And even if my poems are ugly, or weird, or just plain bad  

I'll keep on writing 'em, like a boss, and that's just too bad!
