Her "praise" was just her way of not respecting his boundaries. She treats people like toys.

Didn't you just praise him in a post just to be labeled an attention whore?

I would call you a doormat, but he doesn't leave his house.

Actually, you're right. Everyone should respect their boundaries and give them as little positive attention as possible.

Dragon, you are a model citizen to stand up for a lady like this.

How did I break boundaries with said post? I would like to try not to do it again. I won't talk about the degree anymore if that's what it is.

I am making a big effort to promote this site, posting interesting threads about myself etc, but we're not going to attract new users so long as TC is posting this utter fucking drivel in his pseudo-casual, god-i-am-so-bored-of-this-yet-i-will-post-about-it-constantly-in-painstaking-detail kind of way

and the nihilism are concerning,  also Turncoat's claims of having an overabundance of empathy and yet spending his time criticising people instead of listening empathetically and compassionately and allowing people to feel heard and respected and understood  (holding space)  which is like super ultra important in empathising with other people and in helping them to process their problems in healthy ways and encouraging people to feel empowered to come up with the solutions to their problems which almost always  (100 percent always ?)  are rooted in an unmet need  (of which everyone that is a human being shares in common with all of humanity the same basic needs,  but the unmet needs are varied from person to person)
