In the 80s women tried to make their shoulders look huge. Body trends come and go, none of them are valid.

I am sorry you are going through dysmorphia and it's probably difficult. I used to go through dysmorphia when I was on lupron even though I'm embarrassed to admit it.

I always found self affirming things being said to myself over and over again like "I am awesome just the way I am!" Helps. Sometimes body positivity can be hard to stay in as a mindstate. Just remember that your body is a gift from God and be kind to yourself. When God made you, he smiled.
