some of you people have hypothesized that Ed may be in prison. However that is unlikely. Normally people know when they are going to prison here in europe way in advance. You have a date of court, a date that you enter prison if you were convicted etc. There would have been much time to make a smooth exit or even just mention a time of absence to go on an alpha world journey or whatever. It is unlikely that he would just not comment on it even though he would know that he would disappear from here.
