The only thing worth answering there is I am aware that some persons are “paid under the table” but in the real world in which we live U.S. Tax audits (do you know what it is to be audited?) can have severe penalties, no taxes need be filed for cash payments under a certain amount, and waitstaff which he cited are filing taxes and estimating their tips, heck even Chapo in food service probably estimated his tips for his income taxes. You know what I don’t care. I’m concerned on the other end of the scale about the lifetime gift estate tax credit and hoping we don’t go over.
