It's common knowledge that Chinese child labor is slavery used to make many products but it doesn't stop there.

• the cobalt in your phones and electric cars and any battery is produced by mass slave labor
• the cocoa for the chocolate industry is sourced with child slave labor
• South American and Amazonian timber products are sourced with slave labor (in addition to not using sustainable forestry and doing mass clearcuts) 

 What else are you aware of? We refuse to enslave our own people but we have no issue enabling other countries to do so. This is kind of an example of blind spot bias but I'm sure there's a better bias to attribute this with.

 This is why I am building towards living on my own land and making everything myself or getting it second hand.

 I respect that. I am starting a homestead once I move south and buy land.  I have a background in forestry and timber production so if you need any advice feel free to ask me.  I plan on building a sawmill and managing my land for timber so I can build a barn/workshop etc. etc.

 gross generalization. 100% would imply that you own slaves or enslave people. what about the Amish who make everything they need? what about mountain men who rarely go to town only for supplies? theres plenty of examples of large groups of people who have no connection to slavery at all.

Can you really hold the people accountable who are ignorant? The John Doe who lives under a rock and didnt know his shoes were made with slave labor because he doesnt know Chinese politics?
