Friedrich shut the fuck up. first of all nobody here is "afraid" of gays. I would bet a lot of money you're using a drastic defamatory term to label people here in poor light because of an opinion they hold.  Not every stretch of land under the sun needs to pay homage to a group of people that makes up a significant minority of the population. 

By just throwing around the term homophobic you are discounting all of the valuable attributes of the people you attempt to defame.  The world is less black and white than "you must support every aspect of the LGBTQAIP+ movement or you're evil against the side of the good." The world is much more nuanced than that. Shove your virtue signaling where the sun don't shine.

Oh and it's ok for people to not believe in gay marriage. Personally, I don't care, but I understand the perspective of others. Our species since the inception of the concept of marriage has used it as a religious celebration of the joining of two individuals for the purposes of life and procreation.  To claim possession of that religious right is technically to appropriate another culture.
