What I like about this comedy is how they insert a completely natural, casual interaction into an absurdist situation. Separately, the above situation would be quite boring, and so would the interaction. But by acting out the natural quirks and peculiarities of human interaction it breeds a sense of familiarity and authenticity into the sillyness, which gives it a sense of depth without increasing its complexity.
