If I just move the sticky topics below the paging, they will look like this:

I think this looks good.

Alternatively, I can add a button to show/hide the sticky topics and leave them where they are. The browser will remember if you hid or showed them and will do it automatically on opening the page later too. Here is a rough sketch, the \/ and /\ are gonna be arrows and the entire text + the arrow will be clickable:

And there is another option, to make it with a hide/show button but move it below the paging, I did not bother fabricating a screenshot for that.

EDIT: also, i am thinking of reducing the sticky topics to two, but that can always be changed.

I vote for ability to hide and some more popular threads are added to the sticky to make them easier to find. The music thread, dumb shit that makes you laugh, etc

My choice here is moreover how many stickies there's likely to be (and if it will continue to be at the top of the page on page 2 and beyond).

If it's just two and only on the front page, a show/hide button seems unnecessary.

It's been in our experience, that we eventually like even drastic changes. So maybe not worry about adding the sticky at the top.

I think if the sticky can fold out from the top is good, only because SC doesn't use subcategories.

you can sticky and unsticky any post at any time, its like locking and unlocking a topic.

It will persist on all pages.

I think 2 might be enough(with 1 of them being multiple links, idk what would the 2nd be, maybe rules after all?) since I will also add a feature to favorite topics in the future.

adding categories would not be hard, but it is not SC style, so i have no plans to do that.

When I add the favorites feature, you can pick which to see at the top all the time, personal for each account. I plan to do that in 2 updates.

I do not think we need a hot topic feature, that happens automatically since people bump topics up.

I could host one people put up to a vote for adding to with our basics like Dumb Shit, First Music, Whatchu Watching, SC Movie Night, and others up from the start.

The second one could be your links with maybe a brief idea of what few rules this place follows (pretty much just the dox clause). With that there's one official one and one group one.
