I think you mean to speak of politics is to be COARSE. (of a person or their speech) rude, crude, or vulgar.
Why does chapo necessarily think you’re smart again? 😉He himself copies my turn of phrase: I said on what basis does she say this and and then he said he likes Seinfeld on the basis that. There was one other instance I may recall. My expressions come back to me: it was “to let one down easy”.
The meaning was more than clear, you'd need to be fairly autistic to miss it.
Actually, I take that back, pretty sure our locals here could understand what she meant.
Any excuse for bad English is a poor excuse for good English himself
I don't think you'd enjoy people going at you for your abysmal structuring of the English language.
Normally, people have the means of Interpreting, rather than needing everything to not only be autistically literal, but also refined to a more on point yet less flowy word choice.
Everyone except you seems to get what they're saying, you are the common denominator here. Rather than insulting people for saying perfectly fine sentences, why not learn how to read? It's not like classic literature didn't dip into local speech, look at the works of Mark Twain for five minutes. Even Shakespeare made up words, it's about flow and understanding.
There is a set of words more typical for people that most people learn from conversations with their peers, adjust to that and you're basically good. Again, words don't have to be perfect, they just need to conjure images close enough towards their intended meaning to get their point across.
