I disagree with Friedrich that spatial is paranoid. I'd rather criticize Spatial for never playing the devil's advocate. Basically he's unable to step into the shoes of someone he dislikes. But, generally speaking, I enjoy discussing with Spatial much more than most members here and find him to be quite reasonable.

While I don't play devil's advocate people still get upset with me, people who I find are in the wrong, then over time their claim is either prone to, or does, get destroyed, while I move on to seek the truth in something else. At least that's my personal experience. 

For the most  part, I think that's true, and most of the time I'd say you're right. However, I think you have a tendency to demonize the opposite side in a way that is not always conducive to good discussion. I would find it surprising, for example, if I heard that you'd have criticism of any right-wing political idea or if I saw you promoting an idea that comes more from the left.

But, to be fair, I think you're less emotionally charged about most political topics than many of the people here and it's generally easy to discuss with you. I furthermore think you're reasonable. For example, from what I can tell, your principles are immutable or at least hard to change, and they're relatively well-defined and consistent. It makes it easy to negotiate with you without having to fly all over the place. I generally feel like you're being reasonable at least within your own framework, even if I disagree with something. There's not much sense of entitlement, unfairness, or pettiness that I can sense from you, which I appreciate.
