should we make quotes auto-disappear when they are more than 3 nested?
A checkbox for it could be nice, but sometimes I want it to go further than that.
Maybe it could condense/expand? I know Kiwi does that to consolidate space while still giving the media itself.

Absolutely yes. Maybe 4 but 3 if tc or Alice are a part.
Thankfully un-nesting the quotes would still let it remain lengthy.
I'd just be stuck with more <hr>'s.

Nah I can't think how it would look like if you want to expand it and it takes characters out of your post. I think it's best to delete the nested quotes. You can click on the link in the quote to go back if you want.
