you could not interact or sell magical items to muggles?

Pretty sure they can interact as long as they don't reveal their secret, but the selling part's weirder apparently.

I did a reddit search on this and it looks like there's been some expanded lore over this kind of thing. From the topic 'Why don't wizards sell potions to muggles?'

https://www.wizardingworld.com/writing-by-jk-rowling/potions

Muggles can’t make potions. So wizards and witches would need to make all these potions. It would break the International Statute of Secrecy if the Muggles unnecessarily found out about magic. Besides, Hagrid told Harry that wizards and witches are “better left alone.” Being isolated from the Muggles is simpler than Muggles wanting magical solutions to everything (even if the Muggles didn’t know the potions were magical).
It’s a tough decision. One of Harry’s ancestors used magic to help Muggles. He would cure the Muggles of diseases. https://www.wizardingworld.com/writing-by-jk-rowling/the-potter-family

Draco’s ancestors used to be allied with wealthy Muggles. https://www.wizardingworld.com/writing-by-jk-rowling/the-malfoy-family

The two also use different currency, so there'd need to be a means of conversion between Galleons and Gold. At that point you might need to secure some sort of fence, someone who trades between both worlds, which sounds potentially criminal and/or niche. Even the scale of Galleons is apparently comically large:

In the books, they are rarely particularly described beyond their metal, however there are several references to wizarding money and Muggle money appearing quite differently. Ron Weasley was struck by the seven sided shape of a Muggle 50 pence coin. A Muggle man described Galleons that a wizard had given him as "great gold coins the size of hubcaps". While he was almost certainly exaggerating, it does indicate that Galleons are significantly larger than standard Muggle coinage. Knuts were described as being tiny.

The topic 'The ENTIRE wizarding world would collapse overnight without Hermione Granger.' has some interesting points about the ramifications of the setting, too.

 Ehhhhhh

When i said interaction i mean like clearly display magic to a muggle. There was issues with witches/wizards clearly using their power and abilities to abuse their own kind and muggles- Voldemorts father was a muggle that was given a love potion by a witch and basically raped/taken advantage of and kidnapped to conceive a child.

Loads of young witches and wizards were at some point in the book trying to slip harry love potioned chocolates. Where these powered individuals could meet a healer or a curse breaker to break them out of it, i don't see muggles having the same options.

Also i think it didn't need to be mentioned but I'm certain the farming and agriculture on Hogwarts was likely done by the house elves. I'm certain that they have some sort of agriculture going on or simply buying produce from muggles is enough idk

Yikes.

Pair that with Polyjuice and they basically can't do anything.

Maybe house elves grow all the food?
Do you think there's a reason they're called house elves?

Expanded on:

However, magic cannot create gold or food.

So... how do wizards eat?
How does Ollivander, for instance, buy food with his Galleons?

Maybe there are wizard farmers?
Some families like the Weasleys do garden a little (just like plenty of rural Muggles). But there's scant mention of farming in the books and there's no agricultural or animal husbandry classes at Hogwarts. Herbology classes are clearly aimed at growing magical plants for their value as spell and potion ingredients. EDIT: Despite a lot of debate and speculation in the comments, nobody has been able to provide textual evidence of magically-augmented food-growing, beyond casual gardening like Hagrid's pumpkins (which still take a full season to grow). Casual gardening, even magically multiplied, does not feed a society. Also notice that despite the plethora of magical beings he tends to, it's never stated that Hagrid raises sheep or cows, despite the fact that the Hogwarts students consume mutton, milk and cheese.

Maybe some Muggle farmers or grocers sell food to wizards for Galleons?
Not only would this violate Wizarding secrecy, but when you think about it, Muggles have no use for Galleons (what can they buy, unicorn hairs?).

Maybe wizards melt down Galleons for gold and buy food with that?
This would mean a constant stream of gold permanently leaving the wizard economy, never to recirculate. The only gold entering the wizard economy is hand-mined by goblins. In addition, the massive mis-valuation of the Galleon in the books (an ounce of gold is worth way more Butterbeers than Rowling thinks) points to the conclusion that wizards don't trade gold with the outside world.

Maybe wizards steal food from Muggles en masse?
A lot of the comments below seem to think that wizards simply steal food, rob banks, or use Confundus Charms or memory wipes to manipulate Muggles. This is just improbable considering the wizarding laws/customs we read about in the books concerning secrecy and interaction with Muggles. The Ministry prosecutes people who perform even pranks or small-time fraud on Muggles.

House but really the school isn't a house it's a school with dormitories and school grounds. It's not as if the house elves were restricted to only existing within the house as we see with Dobby leaving the Malfoy manor to warn Harry various times in different locations.

House elves were based on the home spirits like brownies and hobgoblins and they performed farming chores too.

The series in fact is an anaogy for Lord Voldemort body dysmorphia and eventual transition to transsexualism. I applaud both public and private efforts of chamioning the cause. Even if it's VILIFIED by the MASS STATE MEDIA. OPEN YOUR SCROTES PEOPLE

It's... kind of a house? It has rooms, corridors, bathrooms, it serves the same purpose but bigger

The house elves don't look fit to pick crops honestly.

As the topic I've linked twice goes on about, every example of gardening we see is not fit to feed tons and tons of people.

really don't see those tiny pathetic whelps picking crops, you need a strong back for that.

Kind of cute to imagine them raising cattle though.

Yeah, muggles don't and elves don't, WIZARDS do.

Those guys bend reality on accident with their emotions if they don't have a wand to focus it.
