Pokemon cards do have an increased value, but they tend to sell better to collectors over the internet once you prove the cards are authentic.

 Pokémon card trading can be a lucrative and fulfilling means of earning for individuals lacking the creativity or skill to earn via other revenues.

We had a booth at Fan Expo in Toronto. We had a Marvel comic artist, friend of mine, and some other artists. 

One of them printed copies of his art, they were of Marvel characters, though he never worked for Marvel. He'd sign them all day at 25 bucks a pop.

If you're going to sell Pokémon cards, print out small posters and sell them. It's expensive to do but it should ROi before sold out.
