ime contemporary feminism isnt being marketed as an equal rights movement, and i have rarely seen it in action with its rightful nuances, like also adhering to men's issues and what boils down to societal defects that go well beyond the gender wage gap. while there's a section of the movement that i really admire and respect, it makes the same mistakes as any movement makes that bases itself on being an underdog and that ruins it inherently for me, maybe childishly so.
