What does your job do for you?

Growth, as a person, and the feeling of being pushed out of my tiny little beta comfort zone. The joys of mediocrity.

For the rest of you, even the like-minded, but more prominently the rest... What do you get out of your job, and what would you ideally get out of it?

Jobless people aren't excluded. You should know what this is aimed at.

My job offers me more free time than I know what to do with, and I recommend more people consider this line of work if they can otherwise pass the interview criteria.

I want to be able to conduct research, maybe do some consulting, while completely supporting Peach, her hobbies, and my hobbies.

My job gives me a lot of fucking anxiety. My job causes more stress in my life than any other factor.

My job gives me enough money that I can support the lifestyle I am currently living. My life as elevated me to middle class which I do enjoy.

My job forces me to maintain a schedule, which may be better for my mental health, but it drains all my energy. The drain of energy and time as led me to abandon all of my hobbies. I procrastinate responsibilities that could be handled in a single day.

My job connected me to new friends, who also hate working here and we can drink and cry and shit-talk our workplace together.

My job (or my boss rather) are flexible enough that they haven't fired me for coming in 20-60 minutes late literally every single day.

My job will look fuxking stellar on my resume when I blow this popsicle stand.

Ideally I would like to not have a wagie job at all. I would like to stay hone and cook and make the house look nice for Alice and our fur babies while stilling living a comfy upper middle class lifestyle and traveling a lot.

Sc is pretty boring.

I would change careers only because I already figured this one out in general. But the career I want requires me to be 10 years younger. So I will instead continue to make loads of money and travel.

And my job is actually super easy and chill if you have the skills for it. I know many people who really struggle in this field. Being good at it also gives me a lot of leeway and as long as I get things done well and within a reasonable time, I can do whatever I want. Ofc in some companies it won't be like that, however, those are less than the others, I already quit one that was too pushy.

My current job is a little more unique and I have very very direct impact on the entire company and the product. If this company grows well I could really become the song I posted. If it does not I can switch.

I just need to constantly make sure I learn things and not stagnate. I have a few ideas about that and once my current apartment debts are paid, I will start investing. I see money or nukes in the future and both please me.

Cheery bye!

You can always save up and drop out for a bit, and do something different. Like music? Whatever you think is fun. Who cares if you will not be the best at something.
