What kind of sweatshirt would you even go for that doesn't look dorky though? 

 I have black sweatshirts. They look like hoodies not sweaters. Hoodies have neck seams from the hood that make you look like a turtle and they don't distribute heat right.

My best friend got a Napapijri fleece hoodie recently. She likes it very much. They also have Hoodies with zippers. It is a really cool brand. Look at the fleece ones. 

Me personally I am not a fan of zippers on people. It does not suit many people. From a certain age on it makes you look older and 'schrullig' as we say in German. I can wear them though and I have to admit it is practical because when you take it off it does not destroy your hairstyle.
