i could literally decide right now it is my life perrogative to work a job simply so that i can afford to drink starbucks. like say that's my only perrogative in life. thats it. thats what i'm totally fulfilled by and i'm good with doing that.
and meanwhile the whole world is going on.
and i'm just like, doing this little starbucks routine literally until i die, completely content and unbothered. and no one can interrupt that process.
no one can say, 'hey, you can't do that.'
like, you literally can. garett watts is a good example of this, or you know, live streamers who disrupt the public or things like that. but garett watts, he literally on a whim decided to buy random things on amazon and turned his room in a 90s dream room for absolutely no reason. he ordered 50+ packages, and the world is going by, meanwhile he's just unboxing all this random shit from the actual 90's and laughing at it like 'hur hur hur'
and, micheal jackson decided he wanted water guns for christmas and turned his house into some sort of weird play land.
people can be so rediculous sometimes, and i forget that like, i'm allowed to glue my bed to the ceiling if i want. you can buy an unconventional dome house and live in it, if thats what you want.
there is a dude who lived in a strange cave he built in the woods, he didn't even pay rent for a while until someone finally discovered him down there one day and was like hey this is illegal you have to get this to be legal. but he did his paperwork and pays his dues now, but regardless. and literally all he did, for work was mainly some type of illustration for some books or something?????? i don't know LOL
there is this one couple who bought an island, built random structures on it themselves (mind you, the guy was an engineering genius just naturally) and found ways to maintain like, clean water and shit on the island like. he's just out there in the middle of literally fucking no where making his own domain for no goddamn reason. knowing that storms will come and wash it away or damage it. knowing each day could come with challenges, and dangers. and he just was like "you know, i think i'm going to just, DIY animal crossing style my own island, and just, fuck yeah, you know?"
and there is literally no reasoning behind it other than "just because i fucking wanted to"
i love people who do stuff just because they fucking wanted to.
