it annoys me when people don't seem to notice that it was fake laughter. I'm tend to be sensitive to identifying insincerity, so when I see it, it's a turn-off and a major distraction for me.

Just hypothetically speaking is it possible that you are mistaken and someone else is right? Do you feel like it was insincere all of the time or did you notice it a few times and you were turned off by it? I am not doubting that there may have been insincerity involved especially if there is a dynamic that has grown over time and at times may have seemed stale, but a lot of times it seems sincere so either your view is deluded or you are taking an extreme stance because you don't care about the subject matter.
