 It would depend on whether or not I would think I could get away with it. I still think there would be merit for me in just denying everything even though there would be clear evidence against me since people biologically programmed to love me such as my parents would still be delusional enough to believe in my innocence. I could still maintain some relationships and that's what it's really all about for me.

Maybe the guilt of a law abiding citizen, or the idea that it could reduce their sentence, or if it were in self-defense that'd give them a chance to explain themselves.

 Pretty sure rape typically is not really even excused by self defense claims. Maybe in the case of murder.
