Operant conditioning is learning through perceived consequences. Animals and humans learn mostly from operant conditioning. If the perceived result of an action is positive, the action is more likely to be repeated in the future. Likewise, if the results of an action are negative, the action is less likely to be repeated in the future. There are other ways of learning, but they are irrelevant for this thread. The principles of operant conditioning are used in psychotherapy and also when it comes to training animals. For example, there are collars for dogs where the owner can give them electroshocks or can spray citrus water on their snouts to cause irritation when they misbehaved. Through these aversive experiences the dog learns not to behave in a way it should not. Do you guys think a collar like that would help or work on Med? If she would be electroshocked every time she mentions Chapo...? Or if there would be a smelling fluid sprayed in her face? Would that be a way out?
