At this point it feels like you're trying to invalidate her "queer" label so that you don't have to feel gross having been her friend. You even as you get more heated begin accusing her of heading towards a divorce, like wtf?

Unless you're on a college campus or in the middle of San Francisco, they tend to be fairly private compared to heterosexual couples.
