tried to play it. on legendary difficulty. I leveled up to level 70 without even completing the first story quest. dragons appeared in the world, but it would be better if I did not see these stupid creatures. dragon fights disappointed me. they are so dumb. graphics in games get better every year, but artificial intelligence remains brainless.

In Oblivion, you can become an indestructible super-mage. there you can create spells that increase intellect and mana. spells with different names are summed. I figured this out when I cast spells to increase carry capacity. I cast my own mage spells and used over 2000 mana and it was not the limit.

I have a really nasty habit of doing that in Elder Scrolls games in general. Mindlessly exploring and doing side quests ends up filling my time until I realize I haven't even touched the storyline.
Can't really think of any other game series like that.

Once you get to the point of one-shotting dragons they will never leave you alone, making the game more difficult to play over how the NPCs keep having to defend themselves.
Run around as a vampire and it becomes a coin flip over if you are immune or insta-killed by their breath weapon.

I never played any of Bethesda's games truthfully, unless you want to consider like 10 minutes in Skyrim and less than an hour into New Vegas "playing the game"
I'd like to try to get into Morrowind either as an original or if the Morrowind mod for Skyrim gets completed anytime soon and is hopefully identitical to the game.
I need to explore more video games. Maybe I'll play them at some point.
My current skyrim save is 370 hours long and i have a list of large mods i still need to do on it.
thanks to great combat mods, even at extreme levels its still fun af to do combat, i die in 1-3 hits but also kill in 1-3 hits
i can't get most of my mods to work worth a fuck. doesn't help there has been a million updates and versions.
