I have been catching spiders and keeping them for a while, but they always escape because they are smaller than their cage.

Peach took notice and decided to get me this for my birthday.

My birthday is not for several more weeks and she planned to take care of it in secret till then. However, its water bowl was empty and she couldn't deal with it so she came down stairs in a panic asking me if I wanted my birthday present early.

I accepted and am happy to own this now well watered boy.

If they've managed to survive, yes.

I see a rather large spider near my office bathroom from time to time that may be a jumping spider I kept, it was actually found in the house originally so it kind of just lives here I think.
