I just read this article about a guy who after seeing a commercial in the 90s promising him a fighter jet from Pepsi for 7 million Pepsi Points, got his buddy an investor to cut a check for 700K (pepsi points could be bought for 10 cents each) to Pepsi

He and investor buddy sued Pepsi who increased the number of points and recanted that a jet could be bought
