The Toby series has every villain acting out because of exterior forces, it's never their fault to the point that it feels cheap. Toby is also the completely wrong energy for the character, he's better off crying or running off like he did in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
The Garfield one was... awkward. He did a great job capturing Peter's voice (the actor's British, yet dropped the accent for the part) but, while better than the Toby ones, it still didn't hit the mark and didn't leave a strong impression by the end of it.
Tom Holland has the character almost perfectly portrayed, and the writing supports it too. The way he is about his neighborhood is just like the old comics, and even when a bad guy is otherwise made out to be 'not all bad' they still aren't good people by their own merits, handled more like actual human beings.

Holland is a beta that needs to be fucked.
If he's Beta then so is Spiderman, look at how they cast him in general.
That being said, which of the three Spidermen would you see pulling off beating the shit out of Kingpin once he crosses a line, like the comics?
