now that I am leaving and wrapping things up on this forum,  I have been thinking about that I feel bad for Turncoat and how it seems like he only feels a sense of empowerment and passion and motivation for being a contrarian and skeptical of everything and not leaving any room for what is truly unknown to grow and blossom,  instead just trying to squash any potential truths that have not been recorded in some textbook  (umm how is humanity supposed to evolve and become more intelligent without experimenting and inventing new stuff and coming to new realizations about what is and is not possible and the reasons for why everything is the way that it is)  essentially as many have said,  he is myopic in his perspective and his understanding of the world is very limited to what already has been done instead of what is possible

and that is such a limiting perspective because hello,  new and exciting stuff is being achieved and invented and discovered every single day by people all over the world

soo yeah anyway,  I just feel super sad for his limiting perspective on the world and on what is possible to achieve and soo on

this thread is not intentioned to be a put down or a criticism of Turncoat or anything,  I just genuinely feel sad for him but if perceiving the world and reality the way he does presently makes him happy or content or whatever then none of us are really going to change him and it is best to just accept that he is pretty much mentally disabled in a lot of ways due to the way that he perceives the world

and if his comments are not helpful or inspiring to you,  just realize that he is mentally disabled and go on with your life  his comments are one of the reasons why I am leaving the forum and probably why most people have left the forum unfortunately and yeah

anyway I genuinely hope that he is able to have more of an open mind in the future but it might not happen and that is okay,  he can do him   but none of us have to choose to continue to engage with him if he is going to continue to see the world and reality from that limited perspective and refuses to be more open minded and expects us to take him seriously

This whole thing is you protesting my recommendation of doing research.

not at all as I love doing research and it is actually a strength of mine that many people in my real life admire about myself,  and as usual your myopic perspective has you missing the actual summary of the topic

If research is a strength of yours, then why were you so bad at reading a bible?

because I was making a point of how contradictory it was-  you missed the intention I see

Not the entire time, did you just black out the entire thing or something?

oh yes,  the entire time and I am not going to discuss it with you any more than that  and this thread is about me feeling sad for you

Really though:

I have put in effort to pretty thoroughly understand both of your perspectives

What are our perspectives?

I don't think you really know.

There is more than enough linkable material, you only went on about contradictions for the last few weeks of it.

There's for instance the passage you got all wiggy over that you said was proof of the Divine Mother being a Biblical thing, when we were all like "Uh, no?".

Seriously though you only cherrypick things that sound like what you are already thinking, and it has led to you making some super weird claims over data that you'd misinterpret.

When linked research you'd rebuke all of it too, as if validity of facts is only over how good it makes you feel or something.

yes because I was making a point about how christians misuse the bible-  it has to do with some stuff from my childhood on why I did this and I do not expect you to understand nor do I plan on ever giving the details of why I spent time doing that-  it was for personal reasons

this thread is about you,  not myself  and I am going to bump my first post to continue the discussion from there

Already covered that part, that's all over you protesting my saying you need to look into things more.

Otherwise your aim to ad hom my message when you're like twenty times more mentally ill than I am is... depressing, honestly. You must have faced a lot of that to feel the need to attack me with that as a mentally ill person yourself.

Why should anyone follow your advice, over the same reasons you just gave? When asked before all you could say that separated us was your intention of getting better, when from my POV it's over how your strategies are maladaptive, responsible for the very pain you're in.

I think she'd lump that in with "Uninspiring".

Or potentially not..? 🤨

no dude,  she is totally right and I am about to go into a meditation phase  I mean I am obviously always going to feel stuff but it is right to mentally and emotionally disconnect from people that you find uninspiring in my opinion-  life is too short and I only want advice from people in my life who inspire me and share positive uplifting empowering encouraging vibes and I have those people already soo I do not need negative pessimistic bland boring comments from people like Turncoat or buttered toast anymore,  because my life is already filled with abundance and good positive people that I enjoy receiving feedback from-  I do not desire for anyone to be taking advice from myself at this time,  I am seeking advice from people who inspire me and receiving it and most people on this forum do not inspire me that way enough to where I just find this forum an unnecessary waste of time to post on anymore

tl;dr  my life is already full of positive encouraging mental and emotional connections with people outside of this forum and there is really no reason for myself to post on this forum anymore

soo as Lena said,  time to empty myself of this forum and anything else that I find uninspiring
